A little luck was on the side of Tommy Hanson, an Atlanta Braves baseball player, who was involved in a one-car accident Monday. The accident may have left him with a possible concussion.

The car accident happened around 7 a.m. when he blew a tire while rounding a curve near the Disney World property, just outside of Orlando, Florida. Hanson said that when the tire blew, it pulled him off the road and he crashed into the ditch. He then contacted police, who were dispatched to the scene.

According to police, there was no incident report or charges filed because the victim appeared to have no visible injuries from the accident and no other driver or vehicle was involved.

Hanson was on his way to a team meeting for pitchers and catchers when the accident occurred.

Luckily in this instance no other vehicle was involved and no serious injuries were reported, but that is not always the case with car accidents. If you've been injured in an accident, it can be hard to obtain adequate compensation to cover your medical bills and lost wages. Sometimes insurance companies are not willing to pay what they owe and other times you are involved in an accident with an uninsured driver. No matter what your circumstances are, you should contact a personal injury attorney who can help you figure out your options.

As for Hanson, after arriving to the team meeting, he complained of not feeling well and was sent to see a doctor for concussion testing.
