Imagine waiting for months for a trip to Orlando, Florida, only to get into a serious car accident after arriving at the airport. Unfortunately, the airport can be a crowded and hectic place, which can lead to car accidents if drivers aren't careful.

Yesterday, it was reported that two people were seriously injured in an accident at Orlando International airport near Terminal B. Police said that the accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a car and van carrying at least 15 passengers collided.

Reportedly, ten people from the van had to be taken to area hospitals for treatment. However, no one suffered life-threatening injuries, a spokesperson for the airport said. The van is said to have been carrying tourists from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They ranged in age from 1 to 56-years old, officials said.

Police did not report who was at fault in the collision, but it appears that the passenger van struck another car and then ran into a wall.

Following a car accident, it can be hard to find adequate compensation to cover medical bills, property damage and lost wages. Sometimes insurance companies are not willing to pay what they owe. Other times, you are involved in an accident with an uninsured driver.

One way to be compensated for the injuries you sustain in a motor vehicle accident is to file a personal injury lawsuit against the driver at fault. Did you know you could be entitled to damages for past and future medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering?

Additional damages might also be available for serious injuries that cause disfigurement and scaring, permanent disability and loss of earning potential. Be sure to talk to an experienced personal injury lawyer in your area right away after a serious car accident to discuss your options.
